Children's book : Bullies , kangaroos and secrets

Commissioned artwork for a dutch children's book called : "Treiterkoppen,kangoeroes en geheimen" by Carolien Kruijs
Featuring: The euromast in Rotterdam , the awry tower in Friesland (a part of the Netherlands in the north) , the two female teachers in the story, the buss the travel with in the story, the bullies in seel pond , the main children/pupils of the story, kangaroo's of kangaroo island, the cats of the catcafé and alot of joyfull colours

All characters are fully designed from scratch with only knowledge of hair colours and hairstyles.
The buss is based on the busses they use in the Netherlands for schooltrips. The numberplate says TK-KG-17 meaning treiterkoppen and kangoeroes 2017 as basic for the book.
The background monumentals are based on the real monumentals in the places where they come from. They are real and can both be visited in the Netherlands.
